I\u2019ve been coming for about ten or eleven years, and after the first game I came to I was hooked.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"834\" height=\"616\" src=\"https:\/\/sheffieldwire.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image-17.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-78016\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.3538967715402015;width:353px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sheffieldwire.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image-17.png 834w, https:\/\/sheffieldwire.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image-17-480x355.png 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) 834px, 100vw\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The matchday experience at the Steeldogs also offers a more family-friendly alternative to the noise and cost of Steelers games which can be off-putting to some.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many fans told <em>Sheffield Wire <\/em>they enjoyed attending Steeldogs games more because of the price, the sensory benefits for those who have children with special needs, and the ability to access players.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fans thoughts on why they attend Steeldogs games:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-rich is-provider-soundcloud wp-block-embed-soundcloud\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Fans&#039; thoughts on why they come to the Steeldogs by Charlie King\" width=\"1080\" height=\"400\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"no\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?visual=true&#038;url=https%3A%2F%2Fapi.soundcloud.com%2Ftracks%2F2284685414&#038;show_artwork=true&#038;maxheight=1000&#038;maxwidth=1080\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>One fan said they don\u2019t go to Steelers games because they can\u2019t afford the cost, and find the Steeldogs matchday experience much better value for money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said: \u201cI find the Steeldogs games a bit more passionate and gritty, it\u2019s a lot more fun to watch.
