He hopes to raise up to \u00a340,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2026 marks the 40th anniversary of the charity&#8217;s Great Daffodil Appeal which raises funds to care for people with terminal illness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/sheffieldwire.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/PC-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-77519\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sheffieldwire.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/PC-980x654.jpg 980w, https:\/\/sheffieldwire.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/PC-480x320.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) and (max-width: 980px) 980px, (min-width: 981px) 1024px, 100vw\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Paul Chuckle &#8211; Credit: Marie Curie<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Paul Chuckle, the stage moniker of Paul Elliot, is urging people to meet him along his route and give what they can. He said: &#8220;If you see a bucket, pop something in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Whilst I&#8217;d love to be able to cycle the iconic John O&#8217;Groats to Land&#8217;s End route like so many incredible fundraisers do, I&#8217;m really excited to get to travel the route with the &#8216;Daff bike&#8217;, meet lots of people, have some fun and say a huge thank you \u2013 from me to you!&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The charity helped Paul and his family toward the end of Barry Chuckle&#8217;s battle with bone cancer in 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said: &#8220;There truly is only one chance to give someone the best possible end of life. That\u2019s why the Great Daffodil Appeal is so important. Every penny raised will help Marie Curie provide expert end of life care and support to people with a terminal illness and those close to them.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Paul will be stopping: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Glasgow: Wednesday 4th March<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Glasgow Fort Shopping Centre, 12-2pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bradford: Thursday 5th March<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Morrisons Enterprise 5 Store, 12-2pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Birmingham: Friday 6th March<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Victoria Square, 12-2pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Penarth: Saturday 7th March<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Marie Curie charity shop, 12-2pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Exeter: Monday 9th March<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Morrisons Prince Charles Road, 2:30-4:30pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Plymouth: Tuesday 10th March<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Plymouth Argyle F.C, 12-2pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Paul hopes to see as many fans as possible on his tour.
