“There’s always hope. Certainly what we’re hearing on the doorstep is that there’s a great regard for the ‘new-style’ Labour Party that we’re seeing nationally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Before in previous elections, there was reference to the previous leader of the Labour Party and that detracts a little bit from local government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Thanks to what’s happening nationally, we’re getting a little bit of feedback locally.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
