{"id":62526,"date":"2024-04-22T16:41:38","date_gmt":"2024-04-22T15:41:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sheffieldwire.co.uk\/?p=62526"},"modified":"2024-04-22T16:42:57","modified_gmt":"2024-04-22T15:42:57","slug":"youth-music-celebrated-as-part-of-spring-musical-showcase","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sheffieldwire.co.uk\/index.php\/2024\/04\/22\/youth-music-celebrated-as-part-of-spring-musical-showcase\/","title":{"rendered":"Youth music celebrated as part of Spring Musical Showcase"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Young musicians throughout Sheffield will come together this week to perform a number of concerts, as part of the Spring Musical Showcase.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event, running from 23 to 26 April, will bring together the 32 groups involved in Sheffield Music Hub, as well as groups from Beck Primary School and Firth Park Academy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sheffield Music Hub, the organisers of the event, are ambassadors for the &#8216;Awards for Young Musicians&#8217; Furthering Talent Programme which supports young musicians with exceptional potential from low-income backgrounds to access music education. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rory Evans, Assistant Project Officer, said: &#8220;Sheffield Music Hub believes that every child regardless of race; gender; where they live; their levels of musical talent; parental income; whether they have special educational needs or disabilities; and whether they are looked after children; deserve the very best music education.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/sheffieldwire.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/low-res-63-of-533-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-62721\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sheffieldwire.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/low-res-63-of-533-980x653.jpg 980w, https:\/\/sheffieldwire.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/low-res-63-of-533-480x320.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) and (max-width: 980px) 980px, (min-width: 981px) 1024px, 100vw\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Youth Music Group: Image Credit.
