{"id":60922,"date":"2024-04-15T14:46:41","date_gmt":"2024-04-15T13:46:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sheffieldwire.co.uk\/?p=60922"},"modified":"2024-04-15T14:46:58","modified_gmt":"2024-04-15T13:46:58","slug":"mother-charged-over-death-of-baby-boy-found-unresponsive-in-bath","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sheffieldwire.co.uk\/index.php\/2024\/04\/15\/mother-charged-over-death-of-baby-boy-found-unresponsive-in-bath\/","title":{"rendered":"Mother charged over death of baby boy found unresponsive in bath"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Katie Dickinson, PA Media<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A mother is to appear in court accused of causing or allowing the death of her baby who was found unresponsive in the bath.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Danielle Massey, 31, has been charged in connection with the death of seven-month-old Charlie Goodall at their home in February 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The baby boy was found unresponsive in the bath when police were called by paramedics to a house on West Chilton Terrace, in Chilton, County Durham, on February 16.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was airlifted to the Royal Victoria Infirmary, in Newcastle, but died shortly after arrival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Massey has also been charged with possession of cannabis and will appear at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates\u2019 Court on Tuesday. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Katie Dickinson, PA Media A mother is to appear in court accused of causing or allowing the death of her baby who was found unresponsive in the bath.
