His death led to 14 of his school friends coming together to honour his memory by raising money for the mental health charity, MIND.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His friend Jojo Quattrocchi, 32, said: \u201cIt\u2019s been something so tragic but we\u2019ve managed to try and spin that into something positive by running for Jake\u2019s family, for MIND, and just sharing our solidarity for mental health and how we can maybe break these stigmas.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"680\" src=\"https:\/\/sheffieldwire.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/429872184_928350501998251_5931711005446585894_n-1024x680.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-55798\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sheffieldwire.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/429872184_928350501998251_5931711005446585894_n-980x651.jpeg 980w, https:\/\/sheffieldwire.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/429872184_928350501998251_5931711005446585894_n-480x319.jpeg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) and (max-width: 980px) 980px, (min-width: 981px) 1024px, 100vw\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Jake Cook. He was an extremely sporty and inspirational person and I think we thought what more could we do in his honour than a sporting challenge?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The group decided to start a fundraiser for the mental health charity, MIND, to help increase awareness of men\u2019s mental health.
