Rishi Sunak has denied that the Conservative Party has Islamophobic tendencies after comments made by fellow MP Lee Anderson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr Anderson was suspended after failing to apologise for his claims that “Islamists” had “got control” of Sadiq Khan and London.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr Sunak said: \u201cLee\u2019s comments weren\u2019t acceptable, they were wrong. And that\u2019s why he had the whip suspended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
