He clocked a top speed of nearly 23mph, more than 1.2mph faster than the previous record holder Diogo Dalot according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/sport\/football\/article-7432913\/Catch-Academy-star-Deji-Sotona-Manchester-Uniteds-fastest-player.html\">Daily Mail<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sotona has featured six times under McCann this season, scoring on only one occasion.
