{"id":44718,"date":"2023-03-06T11:24:02","date_gmt":"2023-03-06T11:24:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sheffieldwire.co.uk\/?p=44718"},"modified":"2023-03-06T11:44:56","modified_gmt":"2023-03-06T11:44:56","slug":"police-appeal-for-information-after-cctv-is-released-in-connection-to-attempted-robbery","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sheffieldwire.co.uk\/index.php\/2023\/03\/06\/police-appeal-for-information-after-cctv-is-released-in-connection-to-attempted-robbery\/","title":{"rendered":"Police appeal for information after CCTV is released in connection to attempted robbery"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.southyorks.police.uk\/\">South Yorkshire Police<\/a> have released CCTV footage of an attempted robbery that took place in Doncaster on February 15.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The incident took place at Home Bargains on Centurion Retail Park, Centurion Way, just before 2.40am.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>South Yorkshire Police said in a statement: &#8220;A delivery driver arrived at the store and began to unload stock before being approached and threatened by a man on a bike who asked for the contents of the trailer to be handed over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Nothing was taken and the man made off.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The police have made a number of enquiries since the incident was reported and are now appealing to the public to identify the man in the CCTV. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyone with information should call 101, quoting incident number 89 of 15 February 2023.
