Some people can\u2019t buy a cheeseburger and now they are expecting people to pay another grand for their energy bills. It\u2019s a bit mad.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In January, the price cap was \u00a34,279, but will now drop to \u00a33,280.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>University student Marshall Nixon, 20, said: \u201cIt\u2019s just gone up too much. As students we can\u2019t afford anything we\u2019re doing. Rent is \u00a36,000 for a student house, student loan is \u00a39,700. \u00a3700 for food for a year is not reasonable or possible.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the cost of living crisis, some locals are shocked by the announcement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One Sheffield man said: \u201cConsidering what they\u2019ve made in profits it doesn\u2019t seem right in this current climate.
