{"id":33544,"date":"2021-05-04T14:22:45","date_gmt":"2021-05-04T13:22:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sheffieldwire.co.uk\/?p=33544"},"modified":"2021-05-04T14:22:45","modified_gmt":"2021-05-04T13:22:45","slug":"uncertainty-after-missing-votes-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sheffieldwire.co.uk\/index.php\/2021\/05\/04\/uncertainty-after-missing-votes-update\/","title":{"rendered":"Uncertainty remains despite 15,000 missing council ballots update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Voters are continuing to voice their concerns over the 15,000 postal votes that went undelivered in Sheffield last week.<\/p>\n<p>Sheffield City Council on 1 May said that they believed the remaining postal votes &#8220;landed on doorsteps&#8221; that day.<\/p>\n<p>Council CEO Kate Josephs urged voters on Twitter to complete their postal votes as soon as possible, saying: &#8220;You have until Wednesday to get them in the post.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;You can also hand deliver your postal vote to the Town Hall or at your local polling station by 10pm on Thursday 6 May.&#8221;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">UPDATE:<br \/>\nOur understanding is that postal votes have landed on doorsteps today.
