They will be trained in searching and tracking for suspects and missing people, apprehending offenders, and finding property.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><b>PC Adam Fay and PD Diesel<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Officer Fay has been working as part of the Sheffield Response Team for over 14 years, within the Warrants and Firearms Licencing Team. He has been paired with PD Diesel, a 14 month old Dutch Herder.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-33554\" src=\"https:\/\/awesome-shockley.77-68-72-77.plesk.page\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/diesel-1-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sheffieldwire.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/diesel-1-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/sheffieldwire.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/diesel-1.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><b>PC Josh Ingam and PD Bart<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PC Ingam joined SYP four years ago, most recently working on Barnsley\u2019s Response Team. Josh has been partnered with PD Bart, a 16 month old Dutch Herder.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-33555\" src=\"https:\/\/awesome-shockley.77-68-72-77.plesk.page\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/bart-2-256x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"256\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p><b>PC Ash Green and PD Blue<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Officer Green joined SYP in 2013 as a PCSO, progressed to police officer and worked as a response officer in Rotherham. PD Blue is a two year old Malinois.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-33556\" src=\"https:\/\/awesome-shockley.77-68-72-77.plesk.page\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/blue-3-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p><b>PC Dan Hurst and PD Marshall<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PC Dan Hurst has been working for SYP since 2006. He has worked on response, neighbourhood and tasking teams, as well as in the Violent Crime Task Force. He has been teamed up with 18 month-old Malinois Marshall, who joined SYP as a puppy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-33558\" src=\"https:\/\/awesome-shockley.77-68-72-77.plesk.page\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/dan-hurst-4-1-231x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"231\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p><b>PC Dan Fox and PD Louis<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PC Fox has worked for SYP for 12 years, working on the Sheffield Response Team, before more recently within the Violent Crime Task Force. He has been partnered with PD Louis, a three year-old Belgium Malinois.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-33559\" src=\"https:\/\/awesome-shockley.77-68-72-77.plesk.page\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/louis-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sheffieldwire.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/louis-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/sheffieldwire.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/louis.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Typically, the youngest age for dogs to concentrate on<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalpolicedogfoundation.org\/faq\"> training<\/a> is between 12 and 15 months. Both male and female pups make excellent service dogs.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The most popular breeds are German Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, Dutch Shepherds.
