{"id":33236,"date":"2021-04-26T18:00:32","date_gmt":"2021-04-26T17:00:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sheffieldwire.co.uk\/?p=33236"},"modified":"2021-04-26T18:00:32","modified_gmt":"2021-04-26T17:00:32","slug":"tramlines-2021-line-up-released-with-the-streets-royal-blood-and-richard-ashcroft-to-headline","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sheffieldwire.co.uk\/index.php\/2021\/04\/26\/tramlines-2021-line-up-released-with-the-streets-royal-blood-and-richard-ashcroft-to-headline\/","title":{"rendered":"Tramlines 2021 line-up released with The Streets, Royal Blood, and Richard Ashcroft to headline"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tramlines have finally revealed the line-up for this year\u2019s festival at Hillsborough Park.<\/p>\n<p>Sheffield\u2019s most iconic festival will return on 23-25 July, after it was cancelled last summer due to coronavirus restrictions.<\/p>\n<p>The Streets will kick-off the headline performances on the Sarah Nulty Main Stage on the Friday night.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_33254\" style=\"width: 1034px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-33254\" class=\"wp-image-33254 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sheffieldwire.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/16\/2021\/04\/Mike-no-2-1024x980.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"980\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-33254\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The Streets&#8217; Mike Skinner has performed exclusive DJ sets for Tramlines in the past but performs live for the first time as the Friday night headliner.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Brit Award winning rock duo, Royal Blood, are billed as the Saturday night headliners, with former Verve frontman, Richard Ashcroft closing the festival on the Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets have currently been taken off sale, with a final batch to be released on Friday 30 April at 12pm.<\/p>\n<p>With a large number of ticket buyers for the postponed 2020 event retaining their tickets, only a very limited number of Weekend tickets will be available, currently priced at \u00a3130.<\/p>\n<p>Also featured on the line-up are The Kooks, DMA&#8217;s, Blossoms, and Dizzee Rascal.<\/p>\n<p>The line-up announcement has also revealed a number of acts from South Yorkshire, including four-piece rock band The Sherlocks, and the popular local act, Everly Pregnant Brothers.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_33284\" style=\"width: 1034px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-33284\" class=\"wp-image-33284 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sheffieldwire.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/16\/2021\/04\/Tramlines-2019-FANATIC-EricAydin-Barberini-0495-1024x684.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"684\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-33284\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Tramlines will take place at Hillsborough Park from Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th July.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Since its humble beginnings in 2009 as a free event, Tramlines is now a firm fixture on the UK festival circuit.<\/p>\n<p>Tramlines Festival Operations Director, Timm Cleasby said: &#8220;The pandemic has hit us all very hard in a million different ways but the support that Sheffield has already shown us is incredibly humbling for us all.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We\u2019re super excited to bring you what I feel is one of our strongest line ups. The three main headliners have been on my list for a good while now and we\u2019ve got some brilliant returning friends as well.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;All this said, we\u2019re very serious about the public\u2019s safety and take our responsibilities regarding COVID very seriously.
