{"id":32952,"date":"2021-04-26T11:22:40","date_gmt":"2021-04-26T10:22:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sheffieldwire.co.uk\/?p=32952"},"modified":"2021-04-26T11:22:40","modified_gmt":"2021-04-26T10:22:40","slug":"police-appeal-for-information-after-a-man-is-threatened-with-axe-at-dodworth-station","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sheffieldwire.co.uk\/index.php\/2021\/04\/26\/police-appeal-for-information-after-a-man-is-threatened-with-axe-at-dodworth-station\/","title":{"rendered":"Police appeal for information after man is threatened with axe at Dodworth Station"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Police are appealing for information after a man was threatened with an axe at a South Yorkshire train station.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Two hooded men entered Dodworth station carrying a pair of bolt cutters at 8pm on Monday 22 March 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The two men walked across the railway tracks and out of the station, leaving the bolt cutters behind.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">After returning to the station a short time later, the two men found the victim attempting to move the bolt cutters.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The victim was threatened when one of the men lifted his top to reveal a small axe tucked into his waistband.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The British Transport Police (BTP) have released images of the suspects and are appealing for information from the public.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">If you have any information, please contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 486 of 22\/03\/21.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Police are appealing for information after a man was threatened with an axe at a South Yorkshire train station.
